Dear Zoners, my e30 brake lights seem to stay on even when I've lifted my foot off the pedal.. :?

If I lift my foot off quick enough then the light goes out, but if lifted gradually then the brake light stays on... Any ideas? Does it mean I have a sticky brake switch? If so where is it? And how easy is the change over?

Thanks Tripper.

I think your switch is damaged, you can check it near your pedal.

Here is the link to the wiki page. The switch just clips in.

It may just need a squirt of WD40 or similar to free it off a bit.
