Hi all,

I've currently got red coolant in my e30, and I am wanting to change this for blue coolant which should be in it.

How can I ensure that I don't mix the two? Will the usual flushing process mentioned in the wiki suffice?

To completely replace the red coolant you'll need to flush the block too.

I'm guessing to flush the heater matrix I will need to leave it on full hot also?

So basically remove thermostat, pull top hose off, put hose pipe in, fire it up and keep the water running through until it runs out clear
