Good day to everybody. I'm Danijel from Croatia and been visiting this forum for a while but havn't write anything. I'm the owner of E30 325i MtechII with d2 street coilover, 17x10 and 17x9 OZ futuras, full leather interiour, AC power windovs etc. As a daily I have 530 xd f11. I was very happy with my E30 but than I was thinking about m6x swaps to put it in my car. But everytime I was about to order parts I feeled bad to take the car apart. Now I came to the idea since I gave it to my brother to use it as his daily since his is sitting to take his car as a project. I want to do new car project for a long time.Now when I set my mind on it and he gave me a green light I am here to gather any information and help regarding the build that I plan. First of all I want to do as much as I can by myself as long as a have the tools, knowlage or info on it how to do it. By the way I'm marine engineer so I don't mind the grease on my hands. M6x is completly out of the question now, I was thinking of S65 which I think is the great engine but for me nothing can compete with V10 engine, and in close future it will be very rare engines on the road and I want samething special.
My vision is S85 engine, E9x manual transmision, big brake kit, probably from 300mm.de Cayenne set up, intrax suspension and only front seats up front. I want to make it as a daily and track days car. Boosterless brake setup from wilwood. Beside that evo 3 m3 body kit but if I find the wright person I would make it few cm wider. I would also put a roll cage but I have to see what are the rules here in Croatia so that I can register it after the swap which won't be easy here. And I would like to have as much of the electronical aid from esp and all that good stuff becouse my girlfriend will also drive it and I'll need it on daily basis.
So my question is, what diferecial should I use?
Which prop shaft to use or wher to fabricate it?
From my point of view the hardest part for me would be to make the engine mounts and if I have to make the changes on subframe and offcourse electrical wiring. I have never made engine swap in my life so I assume a lot of problem ahead of me.
I have seen a lot of owesome swaps here so I belive there are more that qualified people here to give some info, it would be very appriciated for any help that you can or are willing to recive. If I wont be able to do the swap myself I have somebody on my mind that would do it but I would rather that I can make as much as I can as a project with my brother.

Hi welcome to the zone, I own a v10 e30 m3, it was built by ' glenn ' on this site. have a read, it will answer some of your questions.

maybe not the easiest swap for your first engine swap either ! lol,
I'm happy to help if I can though.

currently helping a bmw tech with the wiring on an e46 m3 v10 at the moment, via the phone, and he's struggling !
it may end up coming here for me to sort.

Good morning guys. Glenn,KW355 your car is awesome. I've read through your build and |I have to say that it was inspiring for my build. I was thinking about it and when I saw it I said yes I want to do it.
Definitely not an easiest but that is my goal, so if I wan't be able to do it I will have to take it across the border to be finished.
Regarding the girlfriend she is not gonna use it as daily lol but she will definitely wont to drive it when I'm with her. For myself I would keep it as weekend and track car but knowing myself it could be used more.
Glenn question for you. When I get my hands on the engine, I'm abroad now so can't do much. When you got your engine did you change the con rod bearings? I've seen that some people had problems with them. But my friend who owned M5 while he had it haven't encountered those problems.

So the build has started officially. The car is taken apart. Big brake kit is ordered and should be ready in few weeks. 345X328 brake kit. Front Cayenne callipers and rear Boxster callipers with front E46 M3 CSL discs and read E46 M3 discs

Struts are about to be sent to Intrax to build the suspension.
Now I'm searching for the E30 M3 sport eve body kit so if anyone knows where to find good one feel free to let me know. Beside that I'm deciding which roll cage to put in the car.
When suspension, brakes and body kit and painting are finished I will go on a V10 hunt. Good times are coming.
