Hi there some urgent help needed

I have converted my 91 325i auto to 2.7 manual and im just finishing off a few wiring bits and noticed that the connector for my new manual TPS is a three pin plug but the connections on my wiring loom are a 6 pin round plug and a two pin plug.

Can i use the TPS of my auto intake or have i got a problem?

Any help much appreciated [/img]

The auto TPS contains the same TPS as the three pin manual one, plus a TP potentiometer for the auto gearbox.
You can use the manual engine loom with the 3 pin TPS or the auto engine loom with the 6 pin TPS.

So its just a case of removing the three pin tps and putting my original 6 pin tps back on.

Theres a 2 pin plug on the same piece of loom that my 6 pin tps plug is on, this connected to a sort of valve thats on my old inlet do i need this aswell or can i leave that off?

Yes, you can change to the 6 pin TPS, or you can splice a 3 pin plug onto the loom. Wire colours are the same.
That sounds like the solenoid valve that controls the fuel tank vent system through a carbon canister mounted in the engine bay. It can be discarded, but the port into the inlet manifold, or the end of the hose must be locked off.
