As above are they all the same? Or different between facelift and pre-facelift?
I bought one off eBay but I can't get it to fit? It seems to big for the attachment bracket on the floor. .....
The car is a 1987 so I'm presuming mine is pre-facelift?
Any help would be great , this car just seems to want to stay unfinished! !!!!!

Yep, I'm pretty sure BMW slightly redesigned the pedal.
When I purchased my 87 Tech 1 it had a pedal that was too big. Somebody had cut it down but it kept coming lose which was bloody dangerous!!
I quickly purchased the smaller earlier pedal.

Pedal design changed in September 1988. 35 41 1 118 210 up to then, 35 41 1 156 488 after.
