max weight of an E30?

Can anyone tell me the MAX curb weight of an E30 (all models) please?

Think it varies from about 1000kg ish for a 316 upto about 1200kg for a 325.

Could well be wrong though :mad:

Unladen Weight (Ready to drive, full tank, without special equipment)

Weight of vehicles have changed over the years, ie a 318i has gone from 1065Kg to 1090Kg through its production life.

For a MAX GROSS weight limit add 460Kg for saloons, 400Kg for Convertible & 480Kg for tourers.

All figures approximate, as taken from BMW Handbooks.

Mark i've heard sports are abit heavier than normal 2 door 325i's?

yeah, your right. Rust weighs more than steel ! :D

If you have a 'true' weight of a sport then please let me know, otherwise i've just quoted what comes out of the handbooks. Can't imagine the sport actually weighs much more than a standard 325i.

yeah your right rust is pretty light 1050kgs it is then :roll:

Had my 325 Touring on a weighbridge a few yours ago, all the normal junk that lives in it + whatever fuel was in it at the time - 1360Kg.

Just wondering, dosnt the Gtech have to have the weight inputed in as lb's rather than KG? I got one today, not sure what measurement to enter

just wondering what the difference between manual and auto doors (convertables) as shown on e30marks weight list??!!

thought all doors were manual!!
