I'm changing my rad. At the moment I have the standard e36 type with the side mounted expansion tank. I'm putting a supercharger on my m50b25 and there won't be room for the expansion type. I'm considering one of these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/172025043854
With this would I just run the bottom hose that would have gone to the old expansion to a new remote expansion?
Or considering one of these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/111867288565
If I go for the s14 type what would I do with the hose that used to go to the bottom of the expansion tank?
Aluminium radiators?

That first one will be a twin 18mm tube, they are very good for the money, you would struggle to buy the cost of labour involved for that much in the UK. 100% Chinese built, the same as the likes of mishimoto and similar makes.
Yep, just move the expansion tank, the top small bleed off also goes to the expansion tank

Yeah, thought that was a pretty keen price. Any ideas how I would plumb in the s14 type?DanThe wrote:That first one will be a twin 18mm tube, they are very good for the money, you would struggle to buy the cost of labour involved for that much in the UK. 100% Chinese built, the same as the likes of mishimoto and similar makes.

I expect you will need to cut lumps out of your car to get that to fit
