Hi i tried to rewire a aftermarket stereo for use in my car the problem i face is that whenever i switch the car off nothing gets stored it always reverts back to default can someone help me with the colour coding of the wiring as i maybe wiring it up wrong ?

Red/green is the power for volatile memory systems.
White/purple is for the main power.

Get yourself a bulb, two pieces of wire attach one wire to an earth somewhere then check your wires with ignition off and on to find your permanent live and your ignition live.red and yellow I think then fit which ever wire is needed to your stereo permanent and ignition power.job jobbed
