Hi all, hope we are well? Having had an auto changer installed in the boot, my rear backrest (4 door saloon) is sitting slightly proud at one top edge just as it buts against the parcel shelf, any ideas how i can get it back to bring totally flush with the parcel shelf like the other side, its niggling me. The rear headrest on the flush side goes up and down as it should but the side thats slightly proud it isn't budging don't know if thats significant! Its not sitting proud as in upwards, just outwards ever so slightly. Splitting hairs i know but i like things to be perfect. Delighted with the install however!!

Thanks in advance

Kind Regards

Russell.

Pull out the seat base, unscrew 10mm headed self tapper on the steel extensions that stick out below the seat back at each side (screw heads may be hidden behind a flap of material), lift the seat back upwards and forwards to remove it, and work out what your installers have done wrong when they put it back. It's possible that they have bent it, so you may have to 'unbent' it.
Refit the back properly, then clip the seat base back in.
