I've got a feeling this is an earth problem !

325i 1987 prefacelift.

So i've energised up today after a bare shell resto and have the following issues:

- Front indicators not working - the rear and side work and bulbs are good. The rear brake lights go dim and bright in sync with the indicators.

- Front fogs not working - rears also not working and no fog light indications lit on the dash panel. All bulbs checked good.

- OBC not energising at all.

- No heater fan

I'm thinking i've got a bad earth behind the glove box ??

There is a single earth wire connected at the G104 behind the left headlights, and it's a good clean earth. Should there only be a single brown here? (i've not connected up the HHLW yet)

Any ideas?

Many thanks

Haven't you got another car to look at?

my car's a tech1 and it had 2,maybe 3,wires to the earth behind the headlamp.

i also had no foglights after a restoration-dismantelling the switch and cleaning the contacts sorted it.
