Not very "technical" granted...but just wondering the best removal method of the bootlid BMW roundel...i have an SE spoiler (being an SE!!) which hampers access to the top of it...is it just a case of sliding something very thin behind it and prizing it outwards, then popping the new one on (i understand its just held in place by its two pins pressed into the locating bungs) ... just trying to avoid marking the bottled hence the question.
Thanks in advance
Kind Regards
Russell.

Just hope that the last person to fit it didn't have an open tube of polyurethane sealant handy.
Don't lever it right out in one go. Move around, and ease it up square.

That thought crossed my mind as well Brian...hopefully not!! Its a mess as the white is peeling on the badge so needs replaced. Thanks for the tip as well, appreciated as always.Brianmoooore wrote:Just hope that the last person to fit it didn't have an open tube of polyurethane sealant handy.
