Hi all,
I'm upgrading from Motronic 1.0 to 1.3 and I'm struggling to fit the injector loom due to it's proximity to the fuel rail inlet near the bulkhead. When the injector loom is fitted, it's rammed up against the fuel inlet and I'm having difficulty getting the pipe back on. Does the fuel rail need to be repositioned or modified?

Thanks,

My injector loom isn't contained within a plastic conduit as yours appears to be. Can you remove it?superdamon wrote:Hi all,

Thanks,

The conduit looks very similar to the one which contains my spark plug leads.

Thanks for the info gromgsxr, I'll see if there's a different fuel rail I can get hold of as that would resolve the issue.
minesapint: Thanks, I might try opening the conduit to see whether it would survive without. My old loom was more like yours but it was motronic 1.0 so didn't have the plug to detach it from the main engine loom.

Thanks Gary, i'm checking with someone locally tomorrow but I'll let you know if it doesn't work out. The engine is a B25 but I'm not sure if the fuel rail would be any different.

The rail is the same between the b20 and the b25 but the b25 has a 3bar pressure reg so you would need the 3bar reg to go with.

I have never seen a fuel inlet facing that direction in the fuel rail since the fuel is coming up from the nearside chassis rail.
