325i Auto Reversing Lights Switch

Hi, I have a little problem with my 325i Auto.
The reversing lights come on in Neutral instead of Reverse?
The car had some gearbox work carried out by the previous owner, could they have wired up the switch wrong?

Thanks mate, I think the whole shift lever needs adjusting as the shift lights don't tally up either!
