Is fuel economy gauge get signal directly from the ECU? Or the SI board is the one who calculate and send signal to gauge.

My gauge only works after havy rain (but for a 30 min or so), or after long ride.. Sometimes hi jumps around all over the place, and goes all the way right in the cluster.. and yet most of the time sits et 0.

I did try to resolder cluster board, but with no luck... Any useful advice with this one..? :)

Fuel economy gauge takes a processed road speed signal from the speedo. circuit board, and a fuel rate signal from the engine ECU. These are processed on the SI board, and the result fed to the gauge.
