Hi All, hope we are well?
I have a feeling the auto shift lever on my 88E 325ISE Auto should be the leather stitched type being the SE to match the SE wheel, would i be correct in thinking that? It has the plasticky type shift lever fitted currently and want it to be as it should be. If thats the case, how do i go about removing it and popping the leather stitched one on? Is it just a case of removing the little grub screw at the rear?
Thanks in advance
Kind Regards
Mr Lachs

Yes, If I remember correctly, there may be a couple of grub screws. Simply remove them, depress the little button, as you would when changing the drive setting and it should pull off.

It's a single little Allen bolt, very small. Then just lifts off like Gert said
