Two headblenders, couple of bags of MC Hammer, 5 litres of FFF, a 48ft bastard, a box of jumped-up custard and some soggy chimps

What ever size the nut is there is a tightening torque chart on the wiki somewhere....

It's an ordinary M8 8.8 stud, so 22Nm or 16 lb ft in English. You need to worry about the length of the studs, (enough to go through the brace and fully through the nut) more than the torque.

Just leave it at the two tugs. Far more problems caused by fasteners being too tight than not tight enough.scottybeemer wrote:2 tugs and a grunt,it'll be fine
