I have a 325 convertible (love it, new owner) with a Abs warning light and flashing check light. It won't pass it's MOT. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The washer fluid level sensor can turn in the bottle, upsetting its operation. Make sure the electrical plug is pointing upwards.
Did you buy the car with the ABS light on, or has it happened since you've had it?
What age is the car? There are two slightly different versions of the ABS system.

That's great I will check the sensor! I bought it with it on, the old guy had put a sticker over it. Haha. It's a D reg. Been in a garage all its life with 1 owner and only 90000 miles. I paid 2k for it.

Could just need filling, of course.

Open the glove box, release the lower ends of the straps, and remove the plastic inspection panel above the glove box (two quarter turn plastic catches and a self tapping screw).
Above the glove box there is a body coloured metal strut that the catch is bolted to, and clipped to the top of this strut should be a silver coloured rectangular 'relay'.
Unclip this and pull it out, still attached to its wires.
Use a meter, or preferably a small 12 volt bulb with wires attached, to check for 12 volts between the red wire on pin 30 and the earth point at the back of the glove box, where all the brown wires go.
Turn on the ignition switch, and check for power on the red/yellow wire on pin 30A, and the green wire on pin 86.
