Forgive my ignorance on this one but I checked the wiki for it and is it:

"Strut Upper Mounting Nuts - 22Nm"

Fitting a brace bar and want to get this right.

Ordinary 8.8 grade M8 bolts, so 22Nm is about right. Not a critical figure, and one which most mechanics would set with a normal spanner.
Making sure you have enough length of bolt showing through for the nuts to screw onto is what you should be worrying about.

I didn't want to shear anything off by mistake but agree on the available thread. Are there different top mounts that compensate for that with extended bolts?

I was going to say "these have a torque value?"

But this is BMW, of course they have a torque value.
