Re Routing Front sunroof drains

Ok so after doing rust repairs i'm just wondering has anyone rerouted the front drains so that they don't drain into the sills and then out.

I want the water to go directly out, i am thinking along the lines of making a small hole in the floor pan next to the speaker and putting the hose through so it just pokes out underneath the car.

Are the any side effects i could run into that i'm not thinking off or anyone run something different to what i'm thinking?

Why? It doesn't cause any problems, as long as no one blocks the drains will sealant.
