As above, I'm sitting on 139k miles and the sticker in the bonnet says to replace the timing belt at 143k.

Car needs a service and the handbrake fixed so was thinking of putting her in and getting the timing belt done also whilst I have the coin to do so. That way she's raring to go for the spring / summer....

Opinions appreciated

DO IT!!

you dont want to be doing all that work in only 4k's time so i would hit it all in 1 go then its sorted for the next 5 years or however many miles a belt is rated for on your car 8)

Definitely do it! If the 143k on the sticker was based on the official belt replacement interval, then it should have been done several thousand miles ago. Change the tensioner pulley and water pump as well.
