I can't help you but, would you mind if I ask you why would you want to do this? Are you looking for more retro look or? I have manual windoor and I'm planning to replace it with electric.

Straight swap of the complete regulator mechanism. Door card off, wedge the glass in place with something tapered jammed in the seal, and remove four (?) bolts/nuts. Hole for the window winder is pre marked on the inside of door cards for electric windows, and will need a blanking plug for going the other way.
Also curious as to why?

Best suggestion yet, but there's nothing 'retro' about a BMW with manual windows. All it suggests is that the original buyer was a penniless loser, stretching his budget to the max., just to be seen in a new BMW.
Fine for a VW (= peoples' car), which was a brand created so that the masses could have cheap, no frills personal transport.
