Got a 318is and the intake manifold and rocker cover are looking rather dated. Is it a bit job to get them off and sprayed? Stick to the original alum colour or go black?

Cheers

Easy to remove but take pics of all the vacuum hoses if uve never done it before. renew rocker cover gasket and other associated gaskets get injectors cleaned

Paint colour is a personal choice.

It's an ideal opportunity to gain access to hoses and injectors under the manifold (there is one very small vac hose under the front of the manifold that is fiddly to release and refit). I sent my injectors to " Injectortune" and was very pleased with the improvement.

Inspect and replace dodgy hoses (guaranteed) and when re-fitting cam cover do not over tighten or you'll strip the threads.
