The OBC loom has a white two pin plug with green and red wires and plugs into the dash loom. This needs to be bridged to start the car.
Cars without OBC have a plug with a loop of wire pluged in.

What Barry is trying to say is that the solid green wire is spilt behind the glovebox...
A plug may be still present, but if it's gone AWOL,a suitable replacement can soon be made up.
The green wire,as you will already know,is the feed from the ign switch to the coil.

If the OBC was fitted from new, the required plug with a loop of green wire should be tied up to the loom nearby.
