Hi, nothing on the indicator stalk is working apart from the quick hi beam pull and the windshield wiper stalk is totally unresponsive as well as the horn.
The hazards flash on all bulbs and my remote locking flashes all around.
I first thought the remote locking was at fault but the wiper controls have nothing to do with it.. I have no glove box light fitted either and the wires are insulated (it caused issues with the indicators before and simply removed the light).
The car goes for m.o.t. tomorrow any help appreciated!!
Thanks,
JF

After some meticulous fiddling (yeah right), seems like relay k6 it at fault, its the first relay I unplugged and everything worked with or without it.
Easy fix. I will buy a new relay i guess.
Any insight still welcome

Unless you have aircon, relay K6 shouldn't even be fitted, and it's difficult to see the slightest possible connection between it and the faults you describe.
Check that the clamp holding steering column at the bulkhead is tight.

Thanks Brian, I know its weird as I thought I could remember fitting that relay when we (you were a big part of it ) fitted the OE electric fan wiring. Moving k2 or something might have done it, whatever ''it'' is...
How can the steering column clamp affect the electrics, is it the ground? All those steering wires must come together in a connector under the plastic shroud I will investigate all that further and check the clamp.
Thanks!

It passed its M.O.T., I checked the steering column clamp and bracket and it was tight.

Its has done the same thing earlier, all stalk commands and horn went dead,I removed and put back k6 and k2 relays in the fuse box and it all worked after that.. I still need to check the steering column wiring.

In your case, K6 should be fitted, since you've effectively fitted the fan part of an aircon. system, but there is still no connection between K6 and any of the faults you describe.
Flexing the fusebox circuit board by moving relays seems to have an effect on the faults, so I suggest you have a look at the underside of the board, and see if there are any cracks or other defects.
