Will my slushbox from my '86 work on my '87? I know the whole setup is different between the two engines, but not sure about the transmissions.

Not sure what you mean by indication, but the '86 is a 325e and the '87 is a 325ci.

Like indicator, gives an indication of what you're on about. If you're not specific about the parts you're asking questions about then there are no definate answers and no number of members can guess the right answer to your problem.

Ok, so since no one of this enormous forum can anser such a simple question I will answer myself after days of reserch. ALL 4 SPEED AUTOS ARE THE SAME...Wow that was hard as fuck! Thanks again! :mad:

If you knew the answer,why ask the question?

You see,if one car had been an M40 engined auto,and the other an M20 engined auto,the gearboxes would not be directly interchangeable,even if their insides were the same.

So please,when asking for help,give us enough clues to be able to help!
