Hi guys..

My e30 I purchased on Tuesday has had an e36 steering rack fitted, and as expected the common problem of the UJ knuckle shoulder catching on the exhaust downpipe when turning left has occurred..

I've read the wiki and done some googling, apart from changing the engine mounts is there any other solution to removing this issue? Has a linkage combo been thought of or made to simply fit to a stock 325i or not?

All help highly appreciated!

Sven.

You have two options, use taller/firmer engine mounts or modify the exhaust front pipes.
