hi im doing a bmw e30 steering rack swap using a standard e36 rack and my mechanic needs a modified coupling to fit any ideas please? he said its been bolted on front bolts nr exhaust and car is an auto thnaks

Take the rubber guibo out and boot the coupling back together.
