Can someone please help me wire up this new remote central locking kit that has come today. I have read how to wire up similar kits but I can't figure out what wires go where with this kit.

It's a giordon kit and below is the wiring diagram that has come with it.

Thanks

There is a write up about it somewhere about a different model of remote central locking gizmo, the search function should bring it up. The wires were different colours but in the same position on the box when i wired mine. All the wires you need to tap into are behind the glove box and behind the passenger kick panel.

TBH, this kit isn't really intended for cars with an existing system as sophisticated as that fitted to the E30, but it should be possible to configure it to work.
Find the lock request and unlock request wires behind the glovebox area, where they come out from behind the speaker, and strip the insulation off of a half inch section of each, so that you can make a 'tee' connection to each.
Fit a ring terminal to the brown wire of your unit, and connect it, along with the black wire to the earthing stud behind the glovebox.
Connect the red wire to the red/yellow from the accessories socket, then experiment with connecting the yellow, white, pink and blue wires, one at a time to either the lock or unlock request wire, until you find one that works. Do the same with the other request wire, and then cut off the other two wires that are left over.

Thanks a lot, I'll hopefully be able to fit it tomorrow now.

That's all done.

Where do I find the wires to make the indicators flash?

They're behind the speaker panel iirc. Everything you need is in that footwell.

Found them on the white plug next to the accessory socket, blue and red, blue and black.

Anyone know what the blue relay is for, as it was quite hot?

First I got a new key cut, so I could cut it down and make it fit in the fob.

Then I installed the wires as follows:

Power wire

Ground wire under glove box

Two blue wires for indicators

From this plug

Screwed the box into a spare hole behind glove box

BTW I will tidy up the wires when I put the glovebox back in.

blue relay makes the windows work when a front door is open. It's hot because you've had the doors open so long while doing the work.
