As the title I'm not getting any hot air through the cabin. I've read that the heater control valves have problems and you can bench test them to see if they are working properly. Question is can you take the valve out leaving the pipes in so I don't have to remove to 2 hoses as they are a bit of a pig to get to?

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Have you got the hoses the correct way around?

The common problem with the heater valve is that it blows its top and dumps your coolant over the passenger side carpet. I have never known a correctly connected (flow direction) valve stop the heater producing warm air.
Does the heater unit produce large quantities of cold air?
