Getrag 260 Sealer

Hi

Does anyone know what the green sealant is around the housing plate which holds the input shaft seal on a 260 manual gearbox? The bell housing is caked in oil and I thought well that's gonna be the input shaft seal, turns out the shaft seal is ok but this green like paste which came off when removing the clutch release bearing sleeve and housing cover is where it's clearly coming from.

Looking on realoem.com and it doesn't show a gasket.
