Help!
I am trying to remove a sunroof panel in order to replace the sunroof seal. I have tilted the sunroof (it's an electric slide / tilt) and can now see the four torx headed bolts that hold the sunroof panel to the frame - the two at the back end of the sunroof are easily to undo but I cannot get at the front two bolts.
It looks like these would be easier to access with the sunroof lining out but I cant figure out how to do this. Does anyone have any advice on this?

Wind it back a bit, then unclip the lining on the panel (pull it down) and slide it backwards into the roof. Tilt the panel. Now you can get at your bolts

Paul,
no need to remove the sun roof to replace the rubber seal.
If the seal is original then it should be in 1 strip (doesnt matter if its not). Tilt your roof up and peel the rubber off from the "lifted" end of the roof all the way round it, easy!!. To refit do the same but when you come to refit the front edge which is lower than the rest on "tilt" put a thick rag on the cars roof and EASE the rubber back into place using a fat screwdriver or knife. Something with no flex in it but be careful how much pressure you apply!!
Patience is the name of the game!!!

Thanks guys, I was just about to follow this up with news that my sunroof is refusing to slide - the motor is working away but it is only moving a few a bit before stopping.
Cheers Tom, I'll give that a try now - just been to the dealers and collected a stack of new parts for the car so i'll give it a fresh try.
