I'm currently doing the M50 manifold swap on my E36 328i.
I have got the manifold loose, but the injectors are still in place.
Should the injectors be separated individually from the rail or should they just be pulled out from the manifold?
Obviously I don't want to break anything & give myself a load of more work & aggro, any help is much appreciated.

typically the injectors get stuck in both the manifold and fuel rail due to the tight fit of the o rings, i prefer to leave them in the rail, and remove the whole lot from the manifold by spraying the base of the injectors with wd40 and wriggling them around, that usually breaks the seal that forms between the seals and manifold and then the whole rail and injectors will come off the manifold without damaging anything
Nice one, that's just what I wanted to hear....teamalsoran wrote:typically the injectors get stuck in both the manifold and fuel rail due to the tight fit of the o rings, i prefer to leave them in the rail, and remove the whole lot from the manifold by spraying the base of the injectors with wd40 and wriggling them around, that usually breaks the seal that forms between the seals and manifold and then the whole rail and injectors will come off the manifold without damaging anything
