325 automatic fluid type which one?

what's the best automatic fluid to use?

Manual says dexron 2? But there's dexron 2d,2e,3 and 6

Also ways of removing the complete fluid without removing the gearbox. Or its the question of drain, fill,drive,drain and fill a few times.

Originally it was Dexron II but this has been replaced by Dexron III. You'll need about 3 litres as a lot of oil remains in the torque converter. To do the job properly, its worth changing again at a later date.
