Hi, just wondering how involved it is to swap in a M20b25 facelift engine into a six pot prefacelift. Are there wiring differences? Thanks, Joe.

Depends how pre facelift the car is. There was a complete change in the plug/socket that connects the engine loom to the body loom some time before the facelift changes.
If the car has the round 20 pin C101 engine loom socket next to the fusebox, then it's easy - almost plug and play. If the car has the older rectangular socket, then there's a bit more to be done, but still easy.
Make sure you are familiar with the warning concerning pin 20 of the C101 plug, although this is more of a 6 pot engine into a 4 pot body problem.

Many thanks fellas. Trying to help out the guy who wants to buy my M20b25. He has an older model 320, not sure how old but glad to hear it's not too big a problem.
