Hi all ive just taken my e30 out after being parked in the garage for over a year usually it would start up no problem and run fine it has been parked up over a year, so I started it up yesterday and it did take some time to start, when it did start it was missing and throwing out white cloudy smoke, I did check the water and oil before the start up and they were up to par.

it took a few attempts to start but eventually I got it to idle but it was running way too poor and eventually something gave way and now it doesn't start, any ideas as in where I could start to look and what I can do, ive cleaned the plugs as they were black, bearing in mind the car drove without fault and ran sweet prior to storage?

advice much appreciated

Fresh fuel would be a start.

It will idle a bit lumpy for a bit anyway as the ECU sorts itself out.

If we has some idea as to which particular E30 model it is, it would help!

Did it get progressively worse as it warmed up?
Will it start now that it's cold?
