I got a e30 325i 4 door g reg plastic bumper model.
Not been used for a month or two started it up today and left it running for about 2 hours (to charge battery up)then went to rev it and its not revving up!
When i push down the excellerator it feels like its about to cut out but it dosent! also if i hold down the pedal it dosent rev above 4000rpm! also if i hold down for a few seconds it starts to make a popping noise from the k&n filter a bit like a AK47 going off in Iraq!
Any help? I pesonally think it might just be the spark plugs but ill hold on till i get some feedback from some of you professionals!!!

Blocked exhaust/cat maybe? I'm no expert but one of your silencer boxes might have collapsed inside, blocking the exhaust, causing said symptoms.

Funny you say that the fuel light has come on but surely there would be enought fuel to last a short while!

Will give the dizzy cap a wipe tomz and see what happens thanks guys.
