I've been offered a 318is front seat that seems, from the photos, to be the in Silver Uberkaro check cloth (code 0305/0380) that I need for my '90 cabbie. Where on the seat would the bit of paper/card (which is all I think it is!!) be attached that has the colour code on it?

Cheers!

I think, if it's original, the silver check seats will have grey external sides on the bolsters, and the seat back will be grey. If it's the darker anthrcite, these will be black.

Is it only on the rear bench? I've seen a picture if the printout for a seat which, from the pics, looked like a match but the printout says:

Polster (cushion): 0304
Farbe (colour): 205

I'm assuming it is the 'cushion' code that is the one I need to read? 0305/0380 is for the silver uberkaro that I'm after and I'm assuming the 0304 above refers to anthracite?

This seems to be the case from images I've seen, actually - good spot, thanks.
