325i Front Brake calipers - Pad differences?

Hi,

Can anybody confirm if there are more than one type of front brake pad on the 325i?

Every set i have purchased, and every set listed on RealOEM/EBC/BMW mini parts etc shows the pads with the small spring retainers in the top.

However, i have the Girling calipers and the springs foul the caliper casting. I need a set of pads that have the three prongs to secure into the piston and then the wear sensor in the other side.

Any ideas where i get them? Motor factors are starting to tell me i must have non-e30 front calipers :mad:

ATE and Girling both use the same pad, as do vented and non vented. Only E30 that uses a different pad AFAIK is the M3.
