Looking to replace the seals on my cam cover as there's a bit of oil weeping out.

Just wondered whether it's best to use a gasket sealer or leave them clean?

If sealer is a good idea what types are recommended?

Cheers

Ive only ever left them dry with a new gasket and they never weep.
