So it's been pretty dry up here for the past few days and I thought i would take the M50 turbo out,
just to stretch its legs and get everything moving/warm etc after being tucked away for the past 4 months,

But when i came back I noticed a little puddle of water under the car :(

I had a look under the bonnet and the bottom of the expansion tank was wet

and on closer inspection, it actually looks like it's pushed/forced/moved it's self upwards :?

is it just me or is that gap a bit excessive ?

The gap seems to get bigger as it goes towards the chassis leg way,
it's hard trying to get a better picture as the oil cooler pipes are in the way
M50 Turbo!!! :o I shall say no more :D

That looks exactly what I'd expect from frost damage! Been skimping on the antifreeze?
Take the top bracket off and remove the tank from the radiator. There's a large O ring that seals the joint.
