Hi

Leaded petrol is being phased out is SA from the beginning of this month. My car currently runs on 97 Octane Leaded Petrol.

Lead Replacement Petrol will be available for some time to come but the octane level has been lowered to 95.

Will this octane change affect my car? I run motronic so, as far as I know, I can't change the timing if that will be affected.

Also, is it possible to change the car so I could run Unleaded? What would have to be changed?

You should be ok with unleaded.
I had an opel manta that i had to use super unleaded in or it ran on and ran like a bag of crap!
If you still stuck u can get octane booster
