It happens on a semi-regular basis that when I go to fill up, the cut-off on the nozzle kicks in straight away and carries on throughout the process. It makes putting 60 odd litres in a very long annoying process. Any idea what the cause could be or am I just unlucky with my choice of petrol pump?

I get this problem at one garage especially and others intermittently. It's very frustrating when you can't put in more than half a tank in a timely manner.

It seems to be when the petrol is leaning more on the filler side of the tank.
