gearbox conversion

thinking of converting a 318i e30 auto to manual. can someone who done this please advise if the conversion is viable? obvious component required fly wheel, clutch assembly ,gearbox , driveshaft ? centre console ,pedal box .clutch master, slave cylinder and hoses. is the final drive the same as the auto once was
