differential on 88/89 318i

[Headlock]

trying to find out how to identify the correct numbering on the casing for a 4.10 : 1 diff

I should be able to work it out by measuring rotations, but trying to find what the numbering on the casing should be

hi there shud be a metal tag at the back of the diff held on by a 16" or 17" bolt or if you turn the propshaft end 4.1 times to 1 full turn of the halfshafts(or the other way round)
