Hey guys,

My shocks are shot so looking to do an overhaul on the whole set up and upgrade them to Bilsteins like I had on my previous E30.

I've got a 325i Sport and was looking at Bilstein B6 shocks but I read somewhere that the sport models should run B8's? Is this correct?

Whilst looking online for them I noticed a B12 kit which is approx. 70 extra but you get Eibach springs matched to the Bilstein shocks and it produces a 30-40 drop at the front and 30 at the rear.

I'm unsure which ones to go for!

Hello Bigbenstrikes

have got the part numbers off the website below for the shocks for the std 325 and the is models, both use the same.
Bilstein make a sport model B8 and a heavy duty model B6

B8's are for lowered suspension
B6's are for meant for std height

B12 kit is B8's + Eibach springs

34-003350 Front Bilstein Sport 87-91 325is & 325i
24-020275 Rear Bilstein Sport 87-91 325is & 325i

So if the B12 kit is what you want, go for it.

cheers
