hello ive had this issue since i got the car! originaly the heaters did work on all settings but the mirrors never did!
i done an engine swap a few years back from an m40 to m20! now some where inbetween the heaters/blowers e/m stopped working completely! now i reconverted it back to m40 and they started working again!
then i reconverted it back to m20 again (dont ask) and once again there not working!
so that led me to believe it was an engine loom problem or maybe an earth strap i forgot to fit back on? any way i tested number 20 fuse for the heater/blower and electric mirrors and there is no power getting there! so where could the problem be?
thanks
No power at fuse 20 so heaters and mirrors dont work!

The problem is with the black/green wire in the engine loom plug, and where it connects to on the starter motor.
How many terminals does the starter motor solenoid have on it, and what do you have connected to them?

You can use the motor that is fitted, even if it doesn't have the 5mm terminal post for the black/green wire on its solenoid. You need to fit an 8mm ring terminal to the wire, and fit it on the large terminal nearest the motor body, where there is a solid link or a wire braid leading to the motor.
