Has anyone had to repair corrosion on the rear wheel arch on a coupe? My 318is is mint but is getting a bit rotton in the bottom half of the front of the rear arch. Just wondered if anyone has had a good job done on this area, what it looked like after and how much it cost. Obviously i want to get it done just wanted an idea of how much i should be paying and what the final result was like...

if you have the rear arch replaced and repainted
the going rate seems to be about Ԛ£250 a side
but maybe yours are more repairable and wnt need replacing
hard to tell without pics

1) Temp repair (rub down, treat and respray): About Ԛ£200-Ԛ£300 for both sides dependin ghow bad it is. But rust WILL be back to haunt you in a year or so.
2) Cut out and replace arches: between Ԛ£450-Ԛ£600 plus parts (60 quid). I paid Ԛ£350 for mine in the end plus Ԛ£60 for the new arches.
If your near cambridge, a lad call Keiran on here might be able to sort you out. He was going to do mine but the distance factor cocked things up.
Option one is throwing your money away to be honest. Hope this helps!
