the problem started 2 nights ago, after a short drive (car wasnt up to temp) pulled in to get petrol, then she wouldnt start, no cranking and the battery is fully charged, lights didnt even flicker. only thing i noticed was the symbol for the the lights/fogs on the light switch went off when turning the key to the start position. after about 5 or 6 attempts it started as normal.
drove fine up until when i went to start it today and its the same problem now.

Next time it happens, whip off the diagnostic socket in the engine bay and short pins 11 and 14. If it cranks, your issue is probably the ignition switch.

No need to have the ignition on for this, but if you do the engine will probably start.
Try not to get run over by your own car!
