Hi,
Ive intermittently had the indicators stop working on my 1990 e30 cab. A few minutes later they start functioning again. All the connectors and fuses are fine. Today it just stopped working completely and took the wiper stalk functionality away with it. So now both dont work at all... I have searched online but cant find any more info on the matter. I tried removing the k6 Relay completely as advised on another forum but with no success of getting indicator and wiper functionality back .
Any ideas? cheers guys!

It's unlikely that two stalks would fail at the same time, so look for a common link between the two. In this case, it's the grounding point under the steering cowl; chances are the screw has worked loose.

If the screw is tight, try connecting a piece of wire from the screw to a good body earth, such as the terminals on the top of the RH front suspension turret, to see if the column itself is earthing properly.
