You don't. Cut the old out and simply push the new ones in.

I think you'd struggle to push them in by hand, but a vice or a trolley jack and the underside of a car etc will do the job!

Hi Scott, just a thought. The offset bushes push the wheels forward almost an inch. My 16" wheels now only just clear the front wheel arch liners and even rub under some conditions with BMW M3 bushes. Just wondering about your 19s...... Great mod though.

What ones did you use? This: vice or a trolley jack and the underside of a car business, whats all that?

I was using the powerflex ones. I found it stupidly easy. If you've got the skills to get the old bush out, you'll easily, I said easily put the new ones in.

Er.... i used an air chisel to get the old ones out, then used a vice to squeeze the new one in. It probably didnt need the vice pressure to get it in but i found it kept it square so made it very easy.
Yep i used the powerflex ones.

I'm not saying your wrong mate, and if it worked for you great, just seemed like the right way for me to do it at the time (in the BMW dealer workshop, what with me being a BMW technician in training).

Anyway player6, seems the answer is no, you can just use your hands!

this thread's about aftermarket poly bushes, not OE BMW ones.
